About LifeStage

Where Every Generation Belongs

LifeStage is a warm, safe virtual space where seniors connect with each other and with the world — through the arts, creativity, and shared human experiences. A digital initiative by The Opera Atelier, Inc.

Our Story

LifeStage was born from a real experience. During the pandemic, our founders — Jacqueline Solorzano and Xiomara Ponce, artists and facilitators working with seniors in Miami — saw firsthand how isolation was devastating older adults. They taught them Zoom, gave them tablets, and created morning connection groups that became lifelines.

When the organization they worked for closed, that space was lost. But the dream never died. That dream became the "Younger at Art... YA!" program at The Opera Atelier, Inc. — a Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing opera through performance, education, and community engagement since 2012.

LifeStage is the digital bridge that takes this proven model to the world — so that no senior, anywhere, has to age alone.
